Philosophy
The aim is to mark a shift from the teacher-centric to the child-centric approach, bringing the child to the centre of learning, with the teacher acting as a facilitator. Instead of telling the child exactly what they have to do, the teacher should observe more passively, giving the child the required space to learn and grow in their own way and develop a love for learning.

Our curriculum is based on thematic approach and carries a real-life connect with the learners' environment to make learning an engaging and effective experience.

Approach
Interdisciplinary Revisits a concept or skill from different perspectives and takes learning beyond subject boundaries, so that students can make connections between different areas of learning. This greatly improves the cognitive process.
Caters to Multiple Intelligences It is important to use activities and tools that are most suitable for each of our students. Provides activities and projects which help in experiential learning as well as in the development of skills that are not innate in the student.
Inquiry-based teaching approach Inquiry-based learning starts by posing questions, problems or scenarios and involves self-directed inquiry or research by the student. This encourages critical thinking skills in students.
Secondary and Higher-Secondary Curriculum
Secondary and Higher-Secondary Curriculum
Veering into the complex and the computational
Philosophy
An ideal senior-secondary curriculum should ensure a learner’s holistic development and prepare them to confidently meet the soon-to-be-encountered challenges of higher education. Mindful of the importance of this responsibility, our educational solutions are designed to maximize the output of the learning process; to render better clarity of concepts, help enhance critical thinking skills and independent research abilities and above all, make them future-ready.
Focus
The analytical approach of the curriculum prepares students to meet the requirements of higher education. Our glocal curriculum is a blend of local contexts and world-class teaching.
Approach
Age-appropriate Even with a move up the grades, the basis of the curriculum remains the same. The lessons become more complex and appropriately, more abstract concepts are taught knowing that the learners will be able to grasp them. The medium of teaching-learning shifts towards the more visual and the aural, having been able to shift a crop of kinaesthetic learners into visual and auditory learners. The concepts, whether in maths or science are not as based on real-life application as before. More theories and jargons and technical terms are introduced.
Smooth progression Next Education curriculum solutions ensures smooth progression of concepts across grades. To take the example of Maths, linear equations in Algebra are introduced in the 6th grade, expanded upon in the 7th and finally graphical representation taught in the 9th grade.
Care is taken to introduce themes that are more organised. ‘Growing up’ as a theme starts in grade 1, and becomes more age-appropriate in grade 8th , where it is explored in its various shades, ending with text related to coming of age for the 13-year old learner.
Self-learning We understand the necessity and benefits of supplementing classroom education with self-learning for the learners of higher-grades. We therefore have LearnNext, our self-learning solution, to help learners develop the beneficial practice of self-learning, a habit which will greatly facilitate them in their future academic life where the teacher’s role would be that of a facilitator’s.
